In short. Warehouse workers do their tasks on an Android handheld with the Linari app. You sign in, check the warehouse at the top right, and open a tile on the home screen. Which tiles you see depends on your role and on the warehouse.
The first time, enter the server address your Linari contact gives you.
Sign in with your Username and Password.
Check the warehouse code at the top right; tap it to switch warehouse.
Open a tile: Count to receive, Putaway, Picking, Checking, Inventory, Cycle Count and others.
At the end of the shift, tap Logout in the side menu.
Watch it
One short video, under a minute. The screens are in English.
Handheld app: home screen, stock search and settings (0:53).
Before you start
The Linari app is installed on the handheld. Your Linari contact or your IT team installs it.
You have a Linari user with a handheld role and a default warehouse.
You know the server address of your Linari.
First time only: the Domain screen asks for the server address. Choose https://, type the address and tap Save. Later the address is shown under the sign-in button, with Change to edit it.
Enter your Username and Password and tap Sign in. Remember me keeps them on this handheld: use it only on a device that is yours.
If Linari asks you to change your password, fill in Old Password, New Password and Confirm New Password.
If a newer version of the app is available, tap Update.
Linari opens your default warehouse. If you have none, choose one in “Please select a warehouse to continue” and tap Save.
The home screen
The warehouse code and name are at the top right. Tap them to open Warehouse List and switch; the tiles reload for that warehouse.
The tiles are grouped under Count, Shipping, Stock, Integration and Store. A small number on a tile is the number of tasks waiting for you. A tile appears only when your role allows it and the warehouse uses that process, so your screen may show fewer tiles than this list.
Tile
What you do there
Count
Receive goods: count a delivery from a purchase order or a sender. See Receive goods.
Putaway
Place received goods into locations. See Put away.
Electronic waybills, where your warehouse uses them.
Look up stock
Open Inventory. In a warehouse with locations, the Location Inventory tab shows stock per location.
Scan or type a Barcode or Product Code (or a Location on Location Inventory) and tap the magnifier.
Each row shows the product, its code and barcode, Exp Date, Batch No., and two quantities: Real is what is physically there, Available is what is not yet reserved for orders. The totals are at the bottom.
If your role allows moving stock, tap a row to move it to another location.
The side menu
Tap the menu button at the top left.
Home and your task groups.
Lock keyboard: keeps the on-screen keyboard hidden in scan fields. Turn it on when you scan with the handheld’s scanner.
Settings, Bug Report (send a problem to Linari) and Check Update.
Logout: signs you out at once, without a question.
Settings
Change Password and Change Profile (your photo). Tapping your name or photo at the top of the side menu opens them too. After a password change, sign in again.
Culture: the app language. It appears only when your user has more than one language. The app restarts after a change.
Enable Scanner: adds a camera icon next to barcode fields, to scan with the camera when the handheld has no scanner.
Enable Add Extra In Cycle Count: lets you add a product you find in a location that the stock count did not expect.
Leave the other switches as your supervisor set them: they change how specific tasks work.
